SBI PO 2023: State Bank of India released the official notification for vacancies of Probationary Officers on 6th September 2023. The recruitment is open for 2000 candidates across pan India. According to the notification, the candidates could be posted anywhere in India.

Educational Qualification
It is mandatory to have graduation or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Fill complete information regarding your qualification in the application form.
Students in their final year/ semester can also apply provisionally but they’ll have to produce the proof of passing the graduation before 31/12/2023. Similarly candidates with Integrated Dual Degree certificate should ensure the date of passing on or before 31/12/2023. Candidates with qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, etc. are also eligible.
Age Limit
Candidates should not be born earlier than 02/04/1993 and not later than 01/04/2002, the age limit is from 21 years to 30 years.

Reservation
OBS candidates from creamy layer are not eligible for reservation, they should be marked as General category.
If reservation is not claimed in the reservation section, reservation will not be given.
SBI PO Salary/ Pay
Starting basic pay is 41,960/– (with 4 advance increments) in the scale 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I.
Probationary officer will be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributed Pension Fund i.e. NPS, LFC, Medical Facility, Lease rental facility etc. and other allowances from time to time as per rules in force.

Training and Probation
Candidates will be given basic banking knowledge online before joining the service. The candidate will have to execute a Bond for a value of 2.00 Lacs to serve the Bank for a minimum period of three years. The Bond will be invoked by the Bank if the candidate resigns before expiry of three years from the date of joining.
Candidate will be designated as “Probationary officer” and may be on probation for two years during which he will be assessed based on the bank’s Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I) policies and standards. Post assessment he will be chosen as Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I) officer.
Candidates who are hard working and brilliant reach the top management in a short amount of time and enjoy the benefits of promotion including foreign postings.
Pre-examination training
Pre-examination training (PET) will be given to SC/ ST/ OBC/Religious Minority Community category in online mode as issued by Government of India. These candidates can fill the training column in the online application.
Candidates can view the list of training centers given in Annexure-I and should download their call letter from the Banks website by entering their registration number and password. No hard copy will be sent for the call letter.

SBI PO 2023 Admit Card
SBI PO call letter for Prelim exam will be made available in 2nd week of October i.e. 2-3 weeks before the Prelims exam. Candidates should download his/her admit card and mandatorily bring it to the Exam center.
SBI PO 2023 Result
SBI PO result will be announced followed by Mains result and Phase III result. In the preliminary round, 10x the number of vacancies will be selected and in the Mains exam, 3x the number of vacancies will be shortlisted.
